Laura Zak joined Thum & Partner in 2025 as a patent engineer and is seeking admission as German and European Patent Attorney.

During her studies in mechanical engineering, she focused on studying the influence of erosive lowering on surface and fringe characteristics of implant materials. Furthermore, Laura Zak has profound knowledge in component construction and technical drawing, which she acquired while working in automotive research and development. After finishing her M.Sc, she gained practical experience in the development of alloys for 3D printing of electrotechnical applications.
