Leonhard Walther has been working as a patent attorney for Thum & Partners since the foundation of the law firm. His work focuses on patent prosecution proceedings including the drafting of patent applications for national and international clients in the fields of mechanical engineering, automotive engineering and medical technologies.
Leonhard Walther studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Munich and received his Master of Science degree in 2017. In addition to the classical subjects of mechanical engineering, he focused on the topics of electromobility and bioenergy plants. As part of his training as patent attorney, he worked in one of the leading German patent law firms in Munich.
