Manuel Soria Parra advises clients on all aspects of intellectual property law, particularly in the fields of medical technology, renewable energies, smart buildings, robotics, mechatronics, automotive engineering, and general mechanical engineering. His work focuses on patent grant proceedings and advising clients on international patent strategies. He has experience in German and European opposition proceedings as well as in utility model cancellation and infringement cases.
Manuel Soria Parra studied mechatronics with a focus on medical technology at the Munich University of Applied Sciences and gained practical experience at the Institute of Robotics and Mechatronics at the German Aerospace Center and during his diploma thesis at a manufacturer of intensive care monitoring equipment. After his training to become a German and European patent attorney at a large German patent law firm in Munich, he complemented his legal expertise with a master's degree in European intellectual property law.
Manuel Soria Parra has been named “Rising IP Star” by the magazine “Managing IP” and “Strategy 300 Global Leader” by the magazine “Intellectual Asset Management”.
