Maximilian Becker joined Thum & Partner in 2026 as a patent engineer and is seeking admission as German and European Patent Attorney.
After his M. Sc. in chemistry, he focused on the topic of lithium-ion batteries for his Ph.D. in material science in Switzerland at the ETH Zurich and the Swiss Federal Laboratories for Material Science and Technology (Empa) in Dübendorf. Subsequently, Maximilian Becker also gained practical experience in research and development of manufacturing solid-state batteries as a battery scientist and project manager at Samsung SDI Europe.
His scientific research has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as „Angewandte Chemie“.
