Meri Meminaj joined Thum & Partner in 2024 as a patent engineer.

Previously, she was working as Patent Examiner in the Young Professionals Program at the European Patent Office and gained invaluable experience handling European and PCT applications and navigating both search and examination proceedings.

During her studies in textiles engineering, she focused on manufacturing processes and technical textiles applied in various fields. She then wrote her master thesis on the topic of auxetic materials and their application in sport shoes. Furthermore, she has profound knowledge of optimising production processes and conducting quality assessments, which she acquired during an internship as Textile Engineer at an international manufacturer of textiles and sports apparel.
