Philip Bonnaire joined Thum & Partner in 2026 as a patent engineer and is seeking admission as German and European Patent Attorney.

In his Ph.D. thesis, he focused on the thermoacoustic instabilities of gas turbines under high hydrogen supply in co-operation with industry-leading companies. After gaining profound knowledge in computer-assisted simulation as well as data-driven analysis, he supervised 14 scientific theses and led a course focusing on applying machine learning to subjects related to technical engineering.

Furthermore, Philip Bonnaire is author of six scientific publications and attended several conferences in Europe and the US as a speaker.
